    Oil temp

We have recently brought a TDI 400 and I have noticed the analogue oil temp gauge sits around 90/95 but the digital dash read out is roughly 100-105. What sort of oil temp should a TDI 400 engine run at? And does everyone else have a difference between the analogue guage and digital?

I'm aware of the EGR issues with some of the bi-turbo tdi's but ours doesn't seem to be using any oil yet.

I believe the analog guage may be general engine/coolant temperature.

Ahh yes, silly me. Does everyone else's sit at roughly those figures?

I have a 340 & coolant is always on 90 once warmed up. Oil varies between 92 & 108, depending on hilliness & speed.

The biturbo runs a bit hot, I fitted a darkside developments oil cooler to mine and I have not seen temps above 99 degs since fitting, used to routinely get up to 108 when running around. Not tried the van fully loaded up when I would see 120 degs + before I fitted the cooler.
