    LED number plate lights.

    Hi all,

A snippet of information, I updated my number plate lights with some LED ones ( correct resistor ones). Nice and bright as the old ones had deteriorated. The contacts on the new ones seemed a tad short and they were not lighting up when fitted. I extended the contacts with some kitchen foil wrapped around each contact long ways and now working perfectly! About $18 or so for a set from an online site. A worthwhile upgrade me thinks.

    Scott.

I did mine with LED's from Autobarn after one blew on me while I was away on holiday. It was a while back and I think they were a little more expensive than that, but the dropped in without an issue and their biggest draw was the fact they make the RVC more useful at night! (Especially with a pretty ordinary composite based camera.
