If you look at Markees and ours its not worth worrying about , it just does not make any difference and we often tow a fully loaded trailer and van full of MX bikes and gear .

Thanks guys. Saw what u guys have done & thought it was a great idea. Someone mentioned to me it might be worth looking into any issues with blocking airflow, but clearly u guys haven't had an issue, which is what I was hoping to hear.

You will need to remove the bar as its the only way to get a nice flush fit , its not as hard as you would think to remove just a few plastic clips and scews etc .The main thing is to make sure you cut the hole neatly so it fits in nicely . Is yours a first generation T5 the later T5.1 ?

I just did this, then mounted it all back together only to have the led aiming too low! Ugh... Now I have to remove the bashguard to get to the bottom 3 bolts of the bumper... Might try find my hole saw...

I must have been lucky as both Light bars I fitted to our 2012 and my early 2005 ended up perfect in the aiming department .

Will pull the front bumper off first I think. Any tips?

Yeah, get a side mount not bottom like mine. So much effort to adjust it.
Get a lot of extensions and good sockets.
Be prepared to get sore jamming your hand inbetween intercoolers and bumpers.
Get some rags and cover the threads that the 2 10mm nuts go onto. Ask me how I now know to do this!!
I probably could have gone higher, but I used the led bar o had when it had a nudge bar. I have a longer 32 I think at my storage which I'll eventually put on. Might weld the bracket on...
