    D/S interior door lock mechanism

Wondering if anyone has some advice on fixing the door card for the drivers side interior door lock (2006 T5 Multivan), or has a recommendation for replacing the part. My door lock handle is intact but the bit of plastic the cable attaches to before the door lock has broken away, anyone had any joy fixing it v replacing it?

Mine broke & I temporarily fixed it using a type of adhesive recommended somewhere. Since then, while my gearbox was being rebuilt, the shop got sodded off having to undo the door from outside & managed a repair with, they say, a cable tie. Your guess how & where they looped it is as good as mine.

can"t you pop rivet some tin or alum plate to both pieces to fix back in position. That's what i'd do.
I don't think a glue by itself would be strong enough.

Think I might try and glue as well as cable tie
