Buy the CVs seperately, and fit them to your driveshafts.

Good advice. I have fitted a outer CV joint, Lobro [OEM brand] in the past. I think I bought it from Imparts
for around $140. Some of the aftermarket complete assemblies must be inferior. There was a guy on the Vortex Forum,
probably in the USA, that wanted to buy any used driveshafts that owners had discarded saying the mainshaft wasn't up to standard on some aftermarket brands.
Understand how it works, troubleshoot logically BEFORE replacing parts.

The VW shafts are hollow in the middle whereas the aftermarket ones are solid round steel shafts, affecting performance. Also many would be inferior quality, made in China.
