He was shocked at first but then thought about it and figured out what he had done when he put the new brushes. The wire from the brush can run clockwise or anti around the motor. He just put it one way and not the other. My neighbour said it was an easy mistake to make. My mechanic is just happy its been fixed and that it was something so simple.
Well....its still playing up! The fan seems to only work on about 3 speeds and after a while shuts down to a lower speed. I decided to replace the fan and resistor and tracked down some used parts from on 07 model Multivan being wrecked.
I have just finished installing it tonight.
IT WORKS !!!!! All 7 speeds and lots of power!
I also bought the ashtry/drink holder to replace my broken one and fitted new wiper blades!

Well I take back my comments of 12/2 and now insert them here...hopefully it's the end of it completely. As a matter of interest any other good bits in the wrecking Multi?Quote:
