Add 12V socket to rear tub

I have a 2017 Amarok that came without a 12V socket in the rear tub - it has a rubber blank in the location where it normally resides - I'm hoping the wiring loom will have the connector and it's just a matter of buying the appropriate 12V socket and installing it - has anyone done this addition and is it as simple as I think or is it more complicated?

Pull the cover off and see if wire is tied back. Needs a waterproof one if exposed to weather otherwise it could short out.

In our Skoda where they deleted light in boot wiring is not there either

I had mine put in pre-delivery by ARB for $100. That was for one on each side. Didn't know they came with one already!

Got mine done pre-delivery by ARB for $100. One on each side. Led's in both. I run a 10w solar panel on the dash to top up the battery.
