I notice Skoda have a 500NM version of the 2L diesel bi turbo in their Koniaq RS. This would be great in the Amarok, so why don’t VW offer this motor. The manual V6 is only 500NM.
Having had a 420 NM Amarok for 5 years and now A 580V6, I think I would prefer the 500 4cyl. Although the 580 is a fantastic tourer/tow tug, it lacks the “personality” of the 4cyl. The 4 is much nicer to drive in normal day to day driving, unless dragging everyone off at the lights is your thing.
