Any GLS owners able to tell me where the blue charge light wire exits the main looms??? My original alternator only had one wire onto it, now I need to hookup the charge light to the G terminal on the new alternator.
Also since swapping my points for an electronic ignition, the white and red wires feeding the coil are getting bloody hot! I can stick a relay in to take the load off the loom, but has anyone else experienced this?

It's been a while...
The blue wire on MK1s in the UK ran from under the battery somewhere and across with the feed wire via the starter. I'd have a look near the starter and see if it's there somewhere.
Not sure about your coil question.
