She almost looks respectable again!!
Awesome news!!!
I spoke to my Mate today about the time frame for getting the car repaired, and he said bring it in next Saturday morning and we'll do it together then and there.
So by Saturday afternoon she should be ready for a new beaver panel, there's the hard part!!!! finding or making a swallowtail beaver panel!
Oh well if it was easy every one would be doing it!
Give Nick at Volksparts a call - 0412 345 126.
He charges like a wounded bull so be prepared to haggle but he has a few spares.

Hey Scotty,
I've got a brand new rear valance that I've bought from VWHeritage UK. I've emailed you a pic if you are interested.
If you're coming down to pick up parts for any of your cars bring a portable saw so you can cut the panel out. I think Nick charges a few hundred just to cut it.
Let me know if you go, I can meet you there and give you a hand. You'll just have to put up with me telling old golf tales going back 30 years. :D
Cheers
Paul
Where abouts is the farm?
Hah!......I'm a youngen I only have golf stories going back 20 years, mind you I did start late! I'll take you up on that offer. It would be nice to meet up.
I'll be calling Nick in the morning, do you know if he has a decent swallowtail there, one that has a not too rusty rear.
All my gear is cordless these days so cutting a car up is no problem.
His place is near Bungendore, east of Canberra.
Last time I was out there was over a year ago and he said he had a few swallowtail panels.
