I knowwww. I love that tartan trim. I'd love to suitably trim a car in that way one day.
I've been searching for a picture of this car for a while. I read something about a very VERY early Swallowtail with some kind of sliding door that was apparently a prototype/test car and this is the first I've seen of it!

There's also a picture floating around, supposedly of an early prototype, 2 doors on one side, 1 door on the other!
Yeah that swallowtail panel just doesnt look nice. Looks more like the shape a mk1 escort has on the rear panel. Very similar. The lower half of the rear panel is flat on that 73 aswell. Glad they revised it.
A pic of that other prototype would be good jarred if you can find it!
