looks tits man, assuming you dont need the stock headers anymore ahah?

briefly read something about brakes - i just finished putting a mk3 booster and 22mm master cylinder on my mk1 as well as 256x20mm rotors and calipers also off a mk3. The caliper carriers are off 80s Audi quattros and 16v sciroccos (running 256mm front rotors) and bolt up to mk1 hubs and also hold a later model (mk3+) caliper, I ended up finding these from a bloke in NZ. Hard to come by but if you see them, grab them. A mate of mine recently-ish just threw on the mk3 booster and 22mm master cylinder - every time i drove his car i smacked my head on the steering wheel the brakes were that good (he's also running 210x10mm grooved black diamond disks and pads from memory)
Let me know if you ever need a hand - I just followed Pete Jones' thread and it worked seamlessly

    Cheers for the tip Elton!

Not sure if mine are any different cos its a GTI, but apparantly mine has a TSR front brake upgrade and mk2 discs on the back. they seem to stop alright! But any upgrade is a good upgrade, right? Will look into the booster/MC upgrade!

My car's been at Volkscare the past week getting fixed up for RWC, and Boris has sorted out all the wiring issues to do with the brake lights, number plate lights and inner spot lights working correctly.

Just waiting on new tail light housings and spot lights to come from vwheritage to tick off the final things for RWC.

So I picked up a cheap Recaro SR2 today. Thinking of retrimming the centres with the GTI material

I will run it in my daily for now has it came with Honda seat rails.

    And also a recent snap!

    Thanks guys!

I haven't had much time to work on her, but I'm slowly getting there.

I fitted new tailight housings as the old ones were cloudy and faded, and still need to install a bushing kit for the shifter/linkage.

Mark helped me find a set of second hand Hella spotlights to replace the cracked ones I have. I didn't realise there were so many different versions of spotlights!

Received another package from VW Heritage this morning! Slowly hoarding parts and filling up my parents' house lol.

My aim is to get the car ready for DOVW. Should have all the bits and pieces I need by then!
