My Mexico Beige Mk1 GLD....UpDated With Pics

Ever since laying my eyes on this car when i used to ride to work everyday for 6 months
i knew one day id own it
After brief 2month stint with a 190hp a3 i realise that speed and new cars wasnt the thing for me
So after selling the a3 i finally got my hands on my dream car
Its perfect, i have no road rage any more, have no want to go fast(not that i have a choice )
Seriously could not be happier with my new car

The interior is in as good condition as as a mk1 can get, before anything happens i thought i may as well post some more pics up because i know how you all love a good mk1 thread

first plans are wheels then some other bits and pieces, This is my daily driver and plan on owning it for a longer time than ive owned any other of the previous 11 cars
Look forward to taking it down to Nats this year

Thanks for the pics. I have only good memories and respect for the GLD I had. Don't have to go fast in these, yet you still felt good.
Especially liked the way I covered huge distances and the fuel gauge hardy moved. Congrats on the purchase of a good clean car.

Hear you there. A fifth would bring the revs down and make it more soothing on a long highway run. I suppose the german engineers thought four gears were enough with the torque. They did the same with the Porsche 930 Turbo (four spd box)

    Awesome !

Apart from the car itself, the photography is awesome.

    Congratulation.
