I'm torn... Maybe I'm asking this is the wrong (or right) part of the forum

Do I spend money on the 79 Mk1 GLD I currently have, or do I go out and get a newer 91 Mk2 GTi and sell the Mk 1

The Mk2 still has the body shape I like, the twin lights I want, and lets not forget it will go faster than the GLD I have right now)




Having said all that the GLD is virtually rust free and is very clean and tidy on the inside. It would make a good start for a nice project car. The downside of course being that I need a daily driver so can't afford to take it off the road.

Maybe asking in the Mk1 part of the forums will sway the answer, but then I'm sure putting this in the Mk2 part would have the same effect...
