Exciting news! we're 100% confirmed for the Sh#tbox Rally, I just have to set up a few online accounts for the donations and to allow everyone to follow our journey and we'll be heading towards being on our way on an insane trip.

Not at this stage, I'll be over with it on the weekend I owe some guys on here some info on the clusters, and then we have to work out what it needs doing for rego, mostly electrical and brakes. Rego will allow us to run around and get it to various places for parts and promote the fund raising.

Not yet, got guys here who've said they will donate and sponsor, I'd like to get a few on board first purely so we have some good names backing us before I start asking further afield, we'll be down to Canberra soon with it, so I'd much prefer in person too. Much appreciated :)
Dad did a once over for rego today, need a few globes, and a reverse light switch, hopefully it's just a 2 prong jobbie that's about $10 from VW Heritage. I'd like to do something with the brakes, hopefully they pass rego as is and I can just replace the disks, shoes, pads
and fluids.

and the steelies Matti89 gave me in exchange for a cluster, fair exchange is no robbery.
now to find some off road type tyres to get on them!
In sponsorship news, my local PIRTEK has come on board with an initial Sponsorship of $800!! They hope to add more donations later when their new year community funding comes through, and my Mechanic has sponsored us for $500!
Sponsorship means they can have their name advertised on our car and details will also go on the SBR website as supporters.
Donations go straight to our tally :)
