brake lights on what could it be

i got a new mark 1 on friday a noice the brake light is on, wat could this be and how could i tests it

couple of other thing help would be help full on : the gear stick is a little sloppy, reverse light don t won t think that s the switch

any help would be helpful

Hey Hazard, i`d check the brake light switches on the master cylinder, only one of them needs to work, but they fail often, so 2 are used.

Gear linkage slop should be easy to fix with a linkage bushing kit.
