Chrome bumpers!! yay. but no end caps :( ideas??

Hey all,

I have a set of chrome bumpers that are both pretty straight and one is basically rust free.. the chrome (once polished) will come up pretty sick, but i don't have any end caps..

i was thinking about making a jig and hammering some sheeted steel out into the right shape, then maybe painting them or getting them chromed.. i would buy them off the net but i kinda wanna have a crack myself.

has anyone done/heard of someone making their own end caps??

thoughts and ideas welcome.

I saw al's(alex g's) chrome end caps last week (not sure if they're chrome but high polish finish). They looked epic but he said they were really hard to put together n he's pretty damn good. Maybe ask him for some tips/advice.
