    2 door window regulator

    Hi Folks,

So the window regulator on the driver's side of my '76 stopped working today (stuck in the down position of course ). Does anyone have any tips on how one might get it moving again, assuming it's not otherwise completely knackered.

Failing that, I would be looking for a replacement. Are there differences between the years? 2-door vs 4-door? Any tips on replacing the damn thing.

    Much thanks.

    Cheers

By window regulator do you mean the entire mechanism?. Do you have manual wind-up windows?

Yup, the entire mechanism. I have manual wind-up windows. The bit in the door that makes the window go up and down is called the regulator. But I have a couple of replacement parts on their way to me so hopefully I'm sorted.

    Cheers
