I don't think they're OEM, but I guess Matt can answer that. I wouldn't mind changing to some subtle chrome tips...

Yeah its a Mk2 Backbox with the tips shortened a bit to fit the Mk1. Gotta keep it as OEM as possible.Quote:

I don't know how much, but I'm sure a REAL Gti twin light grill cost a lot. My workaround was a cabrio grill and a red spray can for the classic gti red strip, they look 98% the same, not many people can see the other 2% difference.Quote:

GTI grills have wider opening in the grill, to allow more air in. Possibly for an oil cooler? That's what I've been led to believe anyways. as can be seen on the left hand side of the badge in the above pic. go have a look at a std grill, and you'll understand what I mean. :)Quote:
