    Wheel spin with Potenzas

Morning all. Once again asking about a solution to wheelspin on my 1.8T 6C.
I run the Potenza at around 37PSI front with decent tread but wheelspin seems excessive.
Is there a grippier tyre out there, and also a tune that flattens that early torque curve you get with this model?
    Thanks

If you are talking about the RE003 Potenzas, then there are most definitely better/grippier tyres available but you will have to spend more. The RE003's are pretty affordable, be prepared to pay approx $100 more per tyre to step up to something better.

RE003’s are good when new but as they wear the grip levels tend to drop off to the point that you want to change the tyres before they are due.

My mileage varied, so to speak. The 1.8 is very torquey in first so you had to moderate your throttle use. Most tunes will flatten it out a bit. Give Alex from Underground Performance in Vic a call if you need a good tune.
