Haha oh I'm sorry my straight pipe is way too "civilised" for you. I'm to assume you had no pipe at all after the flexijoint and just let it hang there?
If so what a legend! Hardly drivable though...but it's all for the lols!!!

It's not staying like that. Was just having some fun. Putting it back to normal after work.

Just trying a few different camera placements for when I go to another track day. I quite like the rear of the car near the exhaust actually, you get to hear the engine a lot more and being low to the ground everything looks faster. Inside the cabin is good too and would give a better view of the track.
Last time I went I tried on the roof which was pretty bad because you heard nothing but wind and everything looked slow because of the wide viewing angle, and inside the car on the back windscreen which didn't work because everything outside the car was over-exposed.
I've got a GoPro and also a proper boom mic with wind deflector / dead cat that I want to attempt to attach near the exhaust to get some more accurate audio tonings, but i'm still too afraid to attach them to the rear of the car to test it out!
The gopro vehicle suction cup mount seems to be very good as long as you're sticking it to a clean, flat surface. I'm always a bit worried about it falling off too but then when I think of tethering it to the car somehow I wonder if the cost of replacing the camera would be less than the cost of repairing the body if it does fall off and bangs around against the paint on the end of the tether...
