Part NO and price for new gti side and rear skirts.

Cant buy a gti in our country yet so there is nothing like that on the streets and i want to look special.
Anyone can help finding part no on this? Local dealers seem to be clueless.

Also are those actually skirts or its a part of a body? Anyway i need part no -)
    Help is greatly appreciated.

    Side skirts:
    Left - 6R0853897 9B9
    Right - 6R0853898 9B9
    Screws - 6 pcs of N 91090701

The GTI has it's own rear bumper although the upper part looks very similar to the std version.
Rear bumper for cars with parking sensors: 6R6807417AQGRU
    Bumper without sensor holes: 6R6807421BDGRU
Cover cap for tow hitch: 6R6807441 9B9
Diffuser (lower black part of bumper): 6R6807568J

These are all GTI-specific parts, the bumper guides etc. are the same on the standard bumper.

Thank you so much for this ^^ =)
Do you know if side skirts are installed over std ones? from the looks of it on the photos it doesnt seem like ground clearance on polo gti is reduced which would happen if you install side skirts over std ones
Also is any special front skirt? I couldnt see anything special on the photo but i believe there should be something.
And last question — any chance you know part no on twin exhaust pipes of gti? Is it a cosmetic upgrade or whole exhaust system is different?

I'm assuming you're not putting these onto a GTi so I will try and answer as many questions as I can:

There are no standard skirts, the GTI just has stuck-on black extensions, the sports-pack skirts also are stuck on then screwed. No, there is no different skirt for the GTI, the bumper is the same height, only the grill opening is different, the fog lights too are the same. No, it isn't a cosmetic upgrade. The twin pipes are welded onto the exhaust pipe and the whole system is a differemt, larger system.

    hope that helps

Gavs - Sorry for digging up an old thread.

Do you know where you can pick up the black extensions from?

Is this why there is a slight indent in the side skirts on the base model?

Just in case this is brought back up..

    Did the research on these.

    To buy from VW:

    $554 per side (yep that's x 2)
$70 or so for the kit to secure them on.
