Jon, for the extra work of the flanges it's probably best if you discuss that option with them on the day. Hard to quote for it sight unseen over the phone. I'm sure they can accommodate you though.

OK, the 6 cars above have been booked into Castle Hill Exhaust for centre muffler removal.

Time: Saturday, 3rd November 8:00am.
Address: Unit 68, 4 Hoyle Ave, Castle Hill, 2154
Cost: $80 each (basic job only - discuss with installer on the day for any fancy flanges etc)

They have allowed 40mins per car. Please show up at 8am. They close at midday. So you'll be home to your wives/girlfriends by lunchtime. ;)

I have already paid a $200 deposit for the booking since their hoist will be not available for other jobs.
So please, if you have to drop out, find someone to take your spot.


Any other polo owners wanting to join us on the day and chew the fat in the car park is welcome. I will have a VCDS cable/laptop on hand.

Will also have to trouble you for some coding for auto-locking door >15km/hr, and auto-unlocking when key is removed.

what are people's thoughts on replacing the middle muffler with a hotdog, rather than removing it altogether?
