    Rear fog light question

when I start my car in the morning the rear fog light comes on and stays on. It happens in all sorts of weather I first thought it was coming on when it was foggy but has been coming on when it is fine and light. Is this normal?
when i touch the light switch it goes off then back on. Also what does pressing the light switch in when it's in the off position do? Sorry about the long post.

This doesn't seem normal. IMO I think you have a short circuit in the switch. Take it back to VW and get them to sort it out.
    Cheers,

I assume you haven't PULL the light switch out as you turn it (to turn the headlights in) ??

Wait, isn't the headlight dial/switch pressed in by default? I mean, if I want to turn my fog light on, I'll pull the switch outwards. Or am I missing something here?

No, you are right but you can still push the switch and i was wondering what that did.

As far as I know pushing the dial inward is only used for removing the entire light switch/dial, doesnt have any other function (I think). If you push it inward and turn clockwise (like to put the lights on) at the same time, then pull outward and the switch pops out of the dash.
