    When you install it, don't set it to the shortest shift. When I get around to it, I'll reset mine so that it's a little longer than that. The shortest shift makes it a fraction too notchy, I think.

    Hm, concerned how this would work in combination with the 42DD and other bushes. I'll wait to hear on this one.

    Yep, I have run into problems there already. 42DD machine to exact OEM tolerances, and it seems some of the short shifters are slightly out ( too big on the posts ), and that makes it necessary to have the 42DD bushings machined out, or the short shifter posts machined back down to OEM.

    These people carry 42DD as well, so you could always ask them, or have them test fit and buy both from them at the same time. I realise you already have bushes noone, but the difference with Forge is really small, and a machine shop could make them matching very easily.

    Remember the bushes are only designed to fix the stock gear linkages, but plenty of Forge/bush custom fits in the USA.
