Strut bar for Front and Rear

I have some questions related to front and rear strut brace.

I know a few of you guys have front strut brace. I also know you guys got it as a group buy from overseas somewhere. Who was the supplier of the strut brace or who made them? I am looking for one at the moment and I found this one from Forge:

Is the above strut brace a similar design to what you guys have? The note on the product says it is for the 9N Polo.

The other thing Forge have for sale is a rear strut brace. Has anyone fitted one of these to their car? If yes, then what does it mount to??

I was thinking if im going to get the front strut bar I may as well get the rear too and pay for postage only once.

Yes, I realise they mount to the strut towers but the rear brace has what looks like a thread or something on it (have a look at the picture). It dosent mount on top of the strut towers as a front strut brace would.
I dont think VW put mounting holes there to fit aftermarket strut braces.

    So the question still stands!

Where does the rear strut brace mount to? Do you have to drill holes in the towers and put bolts through it??

If i dont have to put holes in anything for the rear bar i would consider buying one.
Otherwise ill give it a miss.

I already have the front strut bar and i love it. In my opinion it made changes of direction feel a bit better/firmer. Dont really know how to explain it !
The bar does look good under the bonnet too.

Post to the thread and when we get 5 we can order in 5 x front strut braces.

I will put my hand up for one if someone would have the decency to tell me how the hell they mount.

If i have to drill holes i will not be buying one. Not interested in drilling holes in my car.
