2006 Polo (gti) headliner removal (guide and/or advice)

    Hi team,

I've got lucky with a polo developing a sagging headliner cloth and am wanting to replace this myself.

I've already come unstuck (pardon the pun) with removing the side column sections below it and wondered if anyone had a guide they've done on how to remove all the bits before I permanently destroy clips and screws.

Or I'll take any advice/experience and wisdom on how to remove this section in particular.

    Many thanks in advance
    Luke

*mobile site is bugged. Edit turned to delete??

**Edit to add removal of handles
    Handles:
    -flip handle downwards
-open little tab cover all the way and let go of the handle
-undo both torx bits holding it in

    A-Pillar:-Pop the airbag tag
    -Undo the Torx bit
-Gently pull the top of the trim away towards the rear view mirror.
-Pop all button clips off and disconnect the tweeter
-Pull the entire trim upwards and out.

    B-Pillar:
    -Pop the airbag tag
-Drop the seatbelt adjuster as far down as possible
    -Undo the Torx bit
-Pull away from column -> there are 4 button bolts rear window side that hold the trim in.

    C-Pillar:
-Nothing required, does help having it in when putting it back in

Far back Support trim above the parcel shelf (Between each C-Pillar):
-Pull directly down. There is a plastic tab that holds the headliner under there

    Map light(VERY LAST):
-Pull the rear most trim down
-Then pull the Map light down and disconnect all electrical connectors.
(Both only have safety clips holding them in place)
-Undo the Torx bits holding the headliner to the ceiling; here it will fall downwards. Just pull it towards the windscreen and it will drop out.

    Hope this helps
