    How does your POLO unlock???

    I have a 2007 polo GTi

Just wondering what happens when people unlock their POG?

When i press my unlock button, just the drivers door opens, then the second press opens the other door. (Single point entry)

Does anyone elses open both doors on first press??

The reason i ask is because i went to the stealership the other day and asked them if they could change it to open all doors on 1st press and i got this reply...
A: I don't know if it's possible to change that setting
B: If it is possible, then my foreman will have to connect the computer and reprogram the injection computer.........it's gonna be about 150 bucks.....

At that point i told him to stuff it!!! I didn't tell him i used to work for vag and i know that it's a 10 min job MAX, just wanted to know if anyone else had had theirs changed and how much it cost them??
Also, want to know if LAZY LOCKING is available as a programmable option on the polo (i.e. windows drop when you hold the unlock button & windows raise when you hold the lock button.) I know it's been an option on VW and AUDI for about the last 12 years or so but the guy at the stealership looked at me like i was an alien when i mentioned it .... and he was the service manager!!!

Also is this the type of thing you can do with vagcom?

    Help please

Yes you can change it to 1 press unlock and its as simple as plugging in Vag-com and changing a setting.

I also can wind down the window with the key in the drivers side door, but afaik no using the buttons on the key.

yes you (they) can change it, and any reprogramming is free during the first year of ownership (or so it is at camberwell vw in vic). Once i got used to it, i preferred the single unlock

I've tried the Window auto down and it's not supported with the Polo tis a shame cause this is a cool feature. And yeah anyone with Vag-com that knows what they're doing should be able to do the single unlock thing.

id rather only one door open when you press the unlock button once. maybe thats just female paranoia of someone jumping in the passenger seat and mugging me LOL bit extreme but it could happen...

Also all your non-vag passengers will try and rip your left door handle off trying to get out. Because the doors lock automatically after 15km/h. You can also get this disabled via vag-com.
