ok the original pic I attached has been modified, no rear wiper, even disposed of rego plate :) ..so the whole rear hatch is one section that opens with the remote release. just needs some Lambo doors up front and job complete :biggrin:

i think VW tried to cut their costs when they did the facelift from 9n to 9n3. I see the main problem is the lights are too vertical. They tried to maintain the same spirit as the golf by having that circle in the centre. It makes the back look too long (vertically). Does anyone know anything about regulations for tail lights and their size or something. I think it might look good to have some treatement similar to like the HSVs where there isnt any alteration to the panel work but just streamlined the tail light unit a bit.

FWIW I'm also for a 'mini-Golf' Mk5 look. The taillights are the only thing (other then the rattles) I don't like about Pogo.

Personally I don't think there's anything wrong with the back end of the polo, it's not offensive, it's not blandest thing in the world and it does have a little bit of style to it.
