70km? that's rather early... my appears around 30km left in the tank.. maybe try that?
hi there again. just another query with my car. the yellow petrol warning light and sound does not occur on my dash anymore. i used to get the warning signal with about 70km left to fill up or in the red zone. i do not get this anymore. anybody know whyJust went to the dealership last week to have my suspension spacers taken out. Hope there is no damage done cuz ive been driving with them in there for like 4 months now having just noticed them when i had a look under the car. Looks like i have to go back to the dealership again!!!

70km is too early. It should normally come on at 30-40km.
If anything stops happening to your car that used to happen to it. Take it back, you have a warranty for a reaason.

lol i got 100ks out of mine the other day after the light came on depends how u drive it i guess.
Well, thats not entirely true. Mine always comes on about 70km also...says in the manual when there is about 7-8 litres left in the tank...if it comes on at 30km left that means your consumption is sky high...if 70km left thats about right if your using about 9-10 litres per 100![]()
Mine only comes on at 30 to go aswell O_o
On average my weekly consumption is about 8L/100km, get bout 450km every tank, my light comes on at either 30km or 40km (but I normally don't fill up till 10L or 20L and at almost every refill I put in between 35-38L of petrol. It's interesting to hear that others is 70km, keep in mind that these figures may vary for the guys that are chipped.

I don't tend to let it get low enough for the light to come on ... may have to suddenly make a run somewhere and don't want to have to stop for gas, but I still usually manage about 410-420/ tank-full and (generally) have to put about 35 - 38 litres in.

mine got down to 0kms last night (after only 397kms! FAARK!) Took only 40.6lts to fill it.
