    Local Polo bits supplier?

Having been back in Polo world for a few months, I have seen that all the same problems sourcing enhancement bits still remain.

I'm thinking of starting a Polo ebay shop stocking a few bits of all the common bits people like to look for in 1 place. Doing it through ebay Oz will keep costs lower. It is highly unlikely it will make me any money but rather do it as a service. If sufficient interest I will keep 2-3 of each item in stock in Australia and ship anything purchased from Brisbane.

Things I'm intending to keep are:

    Seat intake pipes
    Cone filter inserts
    Panel filter inserts
    TIPS

    grilles and lights

    Diverter valves

    FMIC's and FMIC kits

2.5" SS Downpipes (incl and excl high flow cats)
    Cat back exausts

    Bushes
strut braces and other body & suspension braces

    Suspension kits

    K04 turbo kits

    Maybe even software upgrades .....

I have a day job keeping me very busy so all shipping and comms to happen in the evening .....

Would Polo owners here use this service?

Assuming relatively competitive pricing, absolutely. Sounds like a lot of stock you'll need on hand, therefore cost out lay, storage and risk. From your perspective, I'd be concerned about warranty requirements and who's responsible. Ie are you going to be a distributor or customer on selling purchased goods.

Brilliant initiative and probably very good timing given the price of the polo's now, people are more inclined to mod them.

Very true, 9n3 GTI's are very cheap now! Would be a great initiative Sharkie, just don't get hung out to dry on our behalf as parts will now also get cheaper OS because of the new model.

Whilst I love the idea, I think it's going to be hard to compete with UK and US pricing.

Make it more open to 1.8T's if you are going to take the plunge.

Yeah some bargains to be had for sure and a lot of reliable car for the money. Yeah great idea for sure but could be tricky. I was dealing with Forge but even at wholesale not really making enough to warrant putting up with the hassle, being in the trade parts club in Glasgow still helps me with bringing my bushes in and seat coolers and VW OEm stuff thats shockingly over priced like throttle bodies, DPFs and the likes, but i limit this as it too has its big time hassles. I brought in a few Seat intakes too but limited that as we already have someone on here who supplies them and didnt want to tread on toes so stopped that too. Good luck with it though. Im sure you would be able to churn a bit but be prepared for headaches.
As Noone says might help widening the range?? who knows
