Dimensions - Polo GTI engine?

Can someone with a GTI do me a huge favour? Can you please pop the bonnet and measure the length of the engine + trans, the depth of the engine and its height?

I am thinking of using the 20 valve turbo engine as the basis for a swap into another car, but first I need some idea of its size.

Give me some more info on what you need and I'll get it today. I'd hate to not quite understand what was included or not and stuff it up.

The longest, widest and deepest dimensions of the engine + gearbox combination please.

Another way of doing the 'widest' is to measure the distance between the chassis rails and then take off a little for clearance.
