Angry My Polo got attacked - scumbags!

    hey all,

had one of the worst days ever today. started off waking up with a cracking hangover from our work End of Financial Year party at the races, and then got a cab to the GC Turf Club to pick up my car....only to find it had been vandalised. fortunately they didn't get in and nothing was taken so i'm guessing the alarm scared off the imbeciles who did this. some people just don't deserve to breathe.

now before anyone says "you're and idiot for leaving your car there", i will defend myself by saying that i was on hold calling a taxi on saturday morning for half an hour. by this time we were so late for our function that i had to drive.

will be giving the insurance company a call in the morning and the car will be out of action for a bit i'm guessing..... conveniently, my gf's car's alternator died 3 days ago so we are foot powered until this all gets sorted. bad times, bad times.

    here are some pics:

    Wow, that's ****ed.

Anything other than the window? I spose that's a little better than painted body work, but still horrible.

no, just the window. it was the 'Gold Coast City Day' at the races so all rates payers got free entry, meaning there were a lot of people there and a lot of cars left there over night. the crims obviously pre-planned a sweep of the car parks late that night as they are very dark and in an industrial area. i hope my loud alarm scared the cowards off and saved some other cars from being broken in to.

Any chance they'll find the people that did it?

    dammit rhys

sorry to hear/ see that, man.

i guess it's true- it could have been worse (paint/ bodywork, or front windscreen), but still, i hope those little f**ktards get their come-uppance.

these are the kind of people who think its fun to beat up on helpless old men in gangs of 10 or so. ohhh if only people who did this sort of thing got like, 2 yrs prison. wouldnt society be a better place if people knew that you got gang raped in prison every day for two years as a result of being a d**khead to other people and their property.......

    Hey Rhys,

That sucks mate. Insurance should be able to get it sorted pretty quick. You might be picking bits of window glass out of the carpet for the next couple of yrs tho
