I got mine second hand about 2 months ago. Unmodded at this stage but there are some plans afoot. Already done 3000k. Can't imagine it'll take too long to get past your 5000k.

G'day mate. I've had my polo from new. It's 2 yrs old with no mods.. has 46,000k's on it. Few rattles here and there (I think everyone's dash rattles) But has been a good reliable and fun little car.

Am thinking about getting a remap one day, just to spice things up.

I've had mine since new. Got in January 21, 2008.

I have APR tune, downpipe, engine mount and Forge TIP. I've already done over 8000kms.

welcome mate. if your not moded i would suggest you would stay away from any moded polo especially if there chipped as once you have felt it you will always crave it.

Hey...I got mine on the 4th of January this year...5000km in 2 years!!! I did that in 3 days just after I got my car!!!
I have found it very hard to resist modifying the polo...It is such a fun car to drive, but it has so much potential you can tap into.

    hey

Ive had my polo since 21st dec 07, and i just cracked 6000km yesterday...

Mine is unmodded at the moment but that is all soon to change.. should be getting it chipped in the next week or two..

LOL if u like having it stock, i suggest u do not drive a chipped polo.. its all down hill from there..

I don,t know any one with a polo gti and have only seen a few on the roads.I once went for a ride in an old school friends r33 gtr skyline man did it fly i was thinking of getting one but the idea was better than real life things like insurance
repairs being a used car ,not very practical the cop attention and people it attracts no way .One polo test drive after doing some on line reading and i was sold on the polo fuel economy was a factor to.I took a mate for a run in the national park a year ago
his other mates got a ford ba xr6 turbo manual and he says the polo has more punch more fun better quality car.To me the polo is a fun car something different.

First would definitely be the ECU Tune - only option in Brisbane is APR/Oettinger from Harding Performance (Guy_H or lams from this forum) - www.hp.net.au

Once that's done there are plenty of ways to go, including handling or more power, really depends on what you want.
