Thanks for the information Lams, didn't really understand the manual at first but now I think I do =D. Will give it a try tonight and see how it goes. However I have another question, this time about the cornering fog lights. I have realized that the corresponding fog light does not lit up when I turn the vehicle. The manual states that it can be activated in the Assistant mode in the MFD but mine only says Bend Lighting, which is already enabled. I suspect this Bend Lighting refers to the adaptive Bi Xenons and not the fog lights?

Fog light cornerng needs to be activated in VAG COM. I believe that the Xenons have got cornering built into the units.

TBH its pretty good, but im gonna turn it off again as it doesnt make any sense for the type of driving i do.

The bi-xenon 'bend lighting' is great, noticed it in some dark streets when i was turning the wheel and it's a feature i'd want to leave on.
Dont know what fog cornering is or does.

steve, some other thread mentioned about auto closing of the sunroof when rain is detected, can you do it on the vag com?

This did work in the Passat and is the same procedure for the MKVI. Was pretty easy.

I noticed the Golf R has the needle sweep enabled by default, just as i suspected.

Got got APR stage 1 installed today :banana: Booyeh
My mechanic turn off my DRL/Bi-Xenon through Vagcom today, so happy :rolleyes: bcos my Bi-Xenon was on 24/7 and my dealer was useless they say it cannot be switch off. Anyway I want my mechanic to put needle sweep on for me but he hasn't got the code for it. Has anyone out there has the code for Needle sweep? eg what number bytes and etc?? Also my car do not have option of mirror down. Is it possible to put that code into the car via Vagcom??

With the mirror down - i assume you're talking about the side mirrors.. AFAIK they can only do that when park assist is optioned only. Don't think you can VAG-COM it to work.

Has anyone out there got this working on the MK6 TSI? I am picking up my vehicle in a few days time and would love to have this feature enabled. I talked to my dealer about this but he flatly refused to do it for me.
