    KCA316 Whiteline ALK

    What is the best place near the Inner West for suspension – or should I just go to pedders?
    Unless you know the guys at Pedders I wouldn't go near them as the standard of workmanship & knowledge is too variable.

    try Heasemans although you will pay for the experience.

    Another good guy is Metro Service Centre at Marrickville

    Thanks Brad

    Is a wheel alignment required when changing sways and/or adding ALK?

    RARB = no

    FARB = yes because they have to drop the crossmember and the bolts fit in the holes like a pr!ck in a shirtsleeve so it never goes back together the same.

    ALK = yes

    So it would be wise to do the FARB & the WALK at the same time.

    I would strongly recommend that rather than the ALK you either do the Supaloy lower control arm kit or fit S3 alloy lower control arms & a non voided console bush.

    For no particular reason I'm really not sold on the ALK. I think the Supaloy kit has ALK incorporated.

    Thanks again - yep supaloy includes ALK. Almost triple the price and more labour involved though especially in a DSG car (need to drop the subframe to clear the 'box). But i'l lkeep it in mind...it looks like a nice bit of kit.

    Is this good bang for buck handling upgrade??

    Thanks all
    I got the SPM swaybar recently from DubAddiction. Well priced ($280), fits well and does the job.

    Doesn't need aligning as nothing is undone to fit it.

    It's 3 bolts per console housing. You might also have to undo the front bolt to give you a bit of wiggle room.

    I'd think 1.5 - 1.8hrs including putting it on the hoist, etc
