I haven't heard that yet... who did that come from?
I just spoke to my contact in Canberra. Whilst he's been side tracked by other business tasks in the past week, he hasn't heard this update. They have received the clips that they ordered from Germany and so will be getting in cotact with the local two customers that were arranged. Hope to have more update soon.
Called my service center before and he told me there is a fix. I need to take my car in on Friday so that they can confirm I have the rattle (I do) and then they will order the part (5days) and install it for me. No mention of any cost.
It will be 1yr since I took this fight to VW. Halleluja!

I heard the rattle for the first time from outside of the cabin the other day (another GTI driving by) - it's not that noticeable, but still annoying to have.
