Nice set of rims, Guy H, I don't particularly like the standard ones on the GTI, but they do serve to identify the car from a distance, I have to admit.

With the 15% price reduction is $1700 for the two programs switchable.
Wheels & offset are exactly the same as MKV
New car looks great, plates look good too!
surely that isn't the old mk5 is it!!?
Car looks great Guy, first MK6 GTI I've seen in the flesh.
That Mk6 is going to be interesting, looks cool already.
Bare engine bay soon Guy? or has that already happened?
Cheers

Hey Jimmy,
Stock as a rock at the moment - we have to get some standard data out of it firstly, but then engine out, gearbox apart, stage 3 etc.
Having spent the weekend in it, you can feel the new XDL function working in the corners really well - a great improvement over the MKV :)
Any chance you could VAG and post a rough 0-100kph & 400m while you are grabbing your standard data? Would be a handy benchmark to have for all sorts of comparisons.
going to try to start to get that info this week - we have a couple of different measuing devices used by the magazines.
0 -100 is easy - the 400m time is a little harder!
