Brakes, the calipers would be slightly heavier and the rotors weight a metric farkload (technical term). Doubt there is much else, different body kit wouldn't amount to much I think and the R has less badging so that's a saving hehe. Wheels would add a bit more due to the larger sizes/widths?
Mostly its the extra coolness I'd say (aka haldex bits)
True, discs calipers and the bigger wheels for sure. I have heard coolness is quiete heavy... must be why I weigh 101 kegs ;) I have never seen the haldex components... just interested.
Was just at the motor show asking (silly me) questions about the 2012 Golf R to which I was given blank stares in regards to the ESP software changes.
I know I have raised my son well too, whenever I couldn't find him he was sitting in the Golf R whilst telling passers by how awesome it is Lol
