DSG will not in basic setting 255/101/0

    Hello all,

Sorry for my bad english, but I translated by a translation machine.

    I have a golf 6 1.4 TSI DSG 7 -speed 2009.
My clutch was worn out so I have put a new plates .
Just want the car now not in basic setting.

When I at auto trans basic setting 060 intoets I first get a code 253 then some. I had sought means that the procedure has been started. Then you'll hear something ticking off the mechatronic and comes 255/101/0 code . I looked up and it means kupwegrampe k2 timeout . Maybe someone knows here what the exact content ?

K2 is clutch two I believe. Don't know much else about this.

    Have you seen these threads?

Replaced DSG7 gearbox, new one wont start adaptation.

How to reset/apply Basic Settings for the 7 Speed DSG?

Have you ever removed the mechatronics whilst changing clutches?!

Even incorrectly shimmed, basically is it failing in the first stage with engine off or with the engine running(2nd stage).

Failing in the first step generally indicates a fault with the mechatronics setting the gears. It shouldn't have been touched when doing clutch replacement but did you make sure to cap off the breather so the irreplaceable fluid did not leak out?

Failing in the second step indicates a fault in the shimming or adjustment of the clutches. Did you use all the tools correctly?
