    DSG Issues Sorted?

    Hi all, 5 owner here, but hankering after the cleaner look of the 6... but... have the DSG issues been sorted on these models or are they best avoided?

    Avoid the 7 speed DSG used in the lower spec models - they are garbage. If you get a Mk6 with either a TDI engine, a GTI or and R then they have a more robust and reliable 6 speed DSG which is the one to get.

    Unfortunately, no .... only 1 half decent is the 6spd wet clutch in the GTI/GTD. Any model with a DQ200 will cost you money in repairs at some point in time.
