Best number plate / plate holder style

They were just the covers for the plates themselves. I always intended to remove the factory plate holder and attach the plates either bare or with the perspex covers. See GTIcams pics on page 10 for and idea of how they would look, as those are lakin plate covers. It's just a preference of style really.

Anybody in NSW "lose" the rear black euro plate in NSW , order a new one, then "find" the lost one to have 2 full size euro plates?
I have read the thread and saw the reference to not using the slimline plate on the rear but can see no impediment to then using both full size plates,

If plates are lost, are you sure they can be reissued?

I think it costs $100 , so to my thinking less trouble than removing the plate holder:smile:

Well it may just be that I don't get it, but if you hadn't said what you were going for, I wouldn't have realised that they were customised to say something

Just my 2c..

I am a fan of the stock look on most cars (with the exception being ride height, usually a little bit of lowering is good on most cars).. Anyway I have just ordered my Custom Euro plates as all of the brochures and pictures feature white Euro plates and I really liked the look..
It is a shame in WA that we have a crappy picture of a swan, but over all I think the plate looks good and it means I do not have to mess about with different sizes on the front holder.

I ordered a rear bracket from Lakin plates as well as two of the covers, there was no point in putting on a front bracket considering the stock one was the correct size for the plate.
