Hi,
Going to fit Bluetooth to my 2011 superb, one thing I cannot find the answer to after scouring the Internets is with the Columbus unit that already has voice control (so it has a mic in the roof already) can I use the existing microphone for the new Bluetooth module?

All the kits I have seen come with a microphone, I am hoping I could just ignore that and it would be smart enough to realize it already had a mic connected. Would make the install much quicker and simpler.

Thanks

The existing mic connects to the mic in on the RNS510.
When you retrofix the BT, you use your existing mic, but you also now need to connect from the mic out on the RNS510 to the mic in on the BT module.
Depending on the harness supplied, this may be included as a set of connectors, or worst case you need to swap some cable pins around.

Awesome, makes sense. Will order the unit from the eBay seller in Spain. He mentions his cable has the pass through set up already.
