View Full Version : Cabin filter where and how to remove?

As above just wanting to check its condition.anyone got the info?

Most likely in your passenger footwell. Have a look underneath behind the glovebox and there should be a couple of thumb screws. Undo them and try to rmove the panel and there should be a box in there. If its similar to the golf (which it most likley is) the bottom of the box should slide off and the filter will fall out. Be careful as it will be full of leaves and dirt and junk!

thanks for that,worked a treat.all done and dusted.wasnt too bad but still gave it a good clean.

You can get charcoal infused ones off ebay for relatively cheap. It helps prevent the mouldy sock smell the filter gets during humid weather!
