The belly pan fitted to the VW MKIV Jetta 1.8T covers components that are critical to the vehicle's safe operation. Installed as a cost-cutting measure, the plastic part only truly excels at catching oil dripping from the engine.
ECS has assembled a Steel Skid Plate Kit that uses a 1.35mm thick MTC skid plate, bringing some engineering sensibility to the underside of your ride.
All required installation hardware is included in the package, including an ECS skid plate tool kit.
