Hi all
Recently my wife lost one of our keys to the Passat (r36) so we got a replacement from a VW main dealer.
They ran some kind of diagnostic during the processes of rekeying the car, and it showed "exceptions" for 80% of the line items, ranging from some of the stability controls to the towing lights.
How concerned about this should I be?
- there are no real issues with the car day to day, and no dash warning lights
- the car recently had a flat battery, and needed assistance from the RACV but was otherwise ok
- I normally get my servicing done at another non-VW dealer, but they claim to have all the latest computer stuff, and didn't mention anything at the last service 3 months ago
Thanks
