As was previously being talked about in the "QLD Meet??" (http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/newforum/upload/showthread.php?t=9072) thread, this is what is happening:

Mr Evorobin and 2 friends (one being a dubber from the USA!!) will be in the Gold Coast on the 10-11th of November and he has expressed great interest in meeting up with us Queensland Watercoolers!!

Lets show our QLD hospitality to'em! j:

So Saturday the 10th of November is the winner and we'll be having Breakfast at The Spit due to it's large carpark, little take away shop and the golden beach.

Being Breakfast, it will be earlyish, being down at the coast by 1030; All brissy peeps can meet where we met last time at the Eight Mile Plains bus depo by 0930!

I'm going to bump this thread like mad to grab everones attention! ;)

Also i've made all these decitions so we dont have peeps umming and arring about times and dates . . . If you have any suggestions please pm me to keep this thread clean and informative :cool:

Aswell, I tripped down to the gold coast today and the spit seems better than I thought, the lil take away shop there opens at 0730 and does a breaky menu so should be sweet! I don't think it should be busy apart from the keen fishermen and should def be quieter than coolangatta (hopefully). . . So it's all green, just needa nab a few more duberz :D though 10 is quite a nice round number, not to big n not to small . . .

See sig... the car is for the family thing, but the bike’s my daily commute, and where I get my kicks (or should I say points/fines :() .

Although the A4’s a nice car, it’s not a car I’m enthused about…primarily ‘cos it’s far too bloody slow - I was used to driving an Audi S2 back in the UK before coming over here… another car I should never have sold and miss like mad!

BTW - I'll be coming down on the bike at the weekend.

Sorry Broady, i'm trying to get in touch with evorobin atm to find out whether or not we're picking them up from inside surfers or if they're somehow getting to the spit themselves? if we need t pick them up then we'll make a lil drive down the esplinade and take that down to the spit.

atm, perhaps meet us there? If you dont wanna stand around at the spit like "nigile-no-friends" then chill back at the start of Seaworld dr and tag on when we pass you :D
