View Full Version : Shrinking center caps that fall out

Hi, I have the original Montreal 2's with 55mm center caps. Periodically they fall out from the plastic shrinking. It is really annoying.

Most people don't have stock wheels anymore thou so care factor is zero.

Does anyone know where to get silicon center caps from? Or cnc some metal ones? Or know of a business who can make them?

i bought new centre caps for mine when i got them painted , genuine vw ones off ebay for about $50 posted from japan

Thanks for the info, but $50 is way too much for centre caps.

I ended up getting reps from Aliexpress.. 4 for $7.80USD... bought 8 just in case :)

If you still have all 4 just wrap some tape around the pressure clips on the back of the caps, test fit and if they are a snug fit you've saved some dollars in replacments.

i had reps ones lasted all of 2 months then the clear on them peeled and looked horrible that's why i spent the extra and got some from vw , cheaper isn't always better
