The other day half of my touchscreen was not working, the next time I turned on my car the whole thing was unresponsive although it was displaying as normal. Now it looks like this:
8208
8206
8207
I went to Volkswagen today and they said they will replace it under warranty.
Has anybody else had this issue?
Nope, but my radio screen doesn't respond to touch most of the time. Getting the service centre to look into it soon.
Did VW say if it is a software reflash or installation of the media system?

They said it was just a faulty screen, and that the screen only will need to get replaced.

Be good if they replaced it with the discover media pro :)

Haha, if that was the case I'd intentionally make my screen like Golf7Tdi's.

It'd be good if they even gave me the option to order one!

True :) I just hope it is a spare part option when the MY15 or MY16 versions come out.
