Polo/Golf RNS/RCD Swap

I have a friend who has an RNS-510 in his 2011 Polo, which he is selling soon. He's offered to swap his RNS for the RCD-310 in my 2011 Golf before he sells it.

Apart from the physical swap work, having to acquire a GPS puck for my Golf, and doing the coding via VAGC, is there any reason this wouldn't work?

Don't see any reason why it shouldn't work. I did that on my 118 back when it just came out

What about coding via VAGCOM on the Polo, once the RCD gets installed?
